I've titled this post for aboslutely no reason "OMG". Let's see what has happened......
I got some followers! Thanks, guys! this is pretty cool, since I was never, ever, EVER expecting anyone to read, much less sign on to follow!! LOL!! So thanks!! I would follow you guys, too, but I have no idea how : p. Sorry!!!
We went to our favorite drive-in last night with one of Jacqueline's friends. We saw the third Ice Age and the second Night At the Museum. I've already seen NATM2, but I figured it was cooler the second time anyway. It's surprising how much adult content they're putting into kids' movies now. Like, in Madagascar 2, when the monkeys are pushing for maternity leave the penguin looks under the table and comes back up slowly, saying all suspiciously, "But you're all males..." and then in Ice Age Sid flys in and lands in front of Elly's (Is that how you spell it?) new baby and yells, "It's a boy!" Diego says, "That's it's tail," and Sid changes to "It's a girl!" Funny, but a bit inappropriate. There were a lot of small kids there that night. I mean, I know they wouldn't understand it, but they're gonna ask their parents, you can count on it.
I updated my profile if anyone wants to take a look. It's a bit more interesting, though I can't lie to say that I've mastered the concept of 'comma = end of sentence.' LOL!!!
A strange dog wandered into our garage about a half hour ago. I was surprised, and my little sister was, too, so I called up for my mom. "MOM! There's a dog at the door!"
"I know! I saw him through the window!" she yells. I wait a minute. Wow, mom. Thanks for the fantastic help. I go outside and Leah already got my dad out there to check the dog out. I asked him if he thought it was Coach, the Lab that lived just across the street with our newly parented neighbor, Jennifer. "Maybe," he said, and told me to grab a drink of water for the poor thing. He was panting so hard he sounded half dead, but what he really wanted was food, as I discovered when I brought out two dog treats, one for our newcomer and one for the curious Sadie, who would have gotten jealous as she does. It was hard to tell if this dog was Coach or not, as he was so much skinnier than last time I had seen him, which was a long time ago. We weren't even sure if Jenn still had Coach, as we hadn't seen him around for a long time. Then Jenn came out of her house and solved the mystery, calling out for her dog on her front lawn.
"This yours? He's having a ball!" Dad laughed and handed him over to her. Jennifer explained that Coach had been at her dad's house for the past six months, because her father was lonely without his own dog, who had recently passed away. Now Coach couldn't recognize this as his home and Jennifer as his mistress. I guess Coach was just attracted to my dad for being.... male. That was pretty much the fun even of the day.
Now I have a dilemma. As much fun as I have with both of my friends, together and apart, only one will be welcome on the annual canoe trip in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which will be coming up soon. Unless I decide to not bring one at all, in which case Jacqueline willl probably steal the slot for one of her own buddies. Unless, God forbid, Leah brings one of her supremely annoying girlfriends along. I will most likely have to shoot myself if that happens. You have no idea. But how am I supposed to choose? Pence is not exactly what you could call an outdoorsy person, though she hasn't met anyone in my family yet. My extended family, at least. Of course they've both met my immediate family. They know the dangerous waters of LeahLand. the problem is, I owe Pence for inviting me up to their cabin in Michigan, even though I'm not going to be able to go, because in the very same week (the same week the Harry Potter 6 comes out, by the way, which sucks) we're heading off the Florida, the surf, the sand, and the sunburn!! It's gonna be a blast. But then again, though Demyx has met my extended family, she would drive my sisters insane, and Jacqueline would be alone. Like she could hang out with my parents or LEAH. So I would feel guilty. The simplest option seems to be to not take anybody, but then Jacqueline brings a friend and, though I get along pretty well with all of Jacqueline's friends, I'd be left alone a lot. I can't hang with Leah, either, and though I'd be better off with my parents than Jacqueline would, it would still ultimately suck. Sigh. What to do what to do? I'm so lucky my friends don't read my blog! Ha! Aaaanyway, I'm sure you don't want to be reading this crap. I bet half people who would actually read this have sign off my now. Which would make a total of people reading this sentence here..... ONE! wheeee.
Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut the beach trip is gonna be awesome! That's all I have for now. TTYL!!!
