Destin Forida Pt. 3

We woke up early that morning and went out to search for seashells! We didn't find much because the beach opens late and people walk over from other beaches and take them all before it opens. Well, we got a couple, but nothing exciting, anyway.
The next part's exciting. We booked a dolphin cruise!!! It was this beautiful yellow boat in the harbor, which was disgusting, and it was called the Florida Lady. It boarded after about twenty minutes and by that time I was already starting to get heat-sick. I hate it when that happens- then drinking something less than freezing makes you feel that much worse. So we loaded onto the boat and I got into the air conditioning real fast. It was nice, the seats were cushioned, and I went outside to watch the boat take off on the deck. Well, it wasn't like I was going to be on my first boat, however small and however short a time, without seeing the water below us!
I was fine for about one hour. The whole trip's two hours long. I went back into the air conditioning then came back out when the announcement came on that dolphins were spotted off the starboard deck, whatever that means.I went out and saw and it was amazing! I know people actually get to swim with them, but other than seaworld when I was so little I can't even remember, I have never seen a dolphin in person, so this was cool enough for me. It was so cool!!
Afterwards, I got a little worse. I hung out in the inside room, lay back on the padded seat, and talked with this really nice woman and her adorable toddler. I know, I'm pathetic! We go canoeing with thwe whole family on the Clarion Rive the Pennsylvania., and I can't handle a boat that's only about twice the size of your average canoe. The waves were really big, but that's hardly an excuse. Anyway, was glad when it ended. We drove out to a Chick-Fil-A, which I've never had before, and I slowly ate a little and drank a little and felt waaaayyy better!
Afterward we stopped off at the hotel pool. Leah was in love with it and she's a whiner- what are you supposed to do? How could we enjoy th beach with her crying she wants to go to the pool? S she got her fix and we went out to the beautiful ocean, had some fun in the sand, had some fun in the water, relaxed with chips and nice, cool drinks, and before we knew it we were headed home. We had the last of our frozen dinners and watched a movie and went to bed. I couldn't WAIT to get to sleep!
So, life lessons learned?:
A- don't like boats
B- like Chick-Fil-A
