Dance, Dance, Dance

Tonight was the first of 10-15 dances throughout the school year. JordanTheBigFatJerkWhoThinksHe'sTooGoodForTheWorldEvenThoughHe'sATotalLoserJerkface says they're gay (WHICH, BY THE WAY, IS NOT A REAL INSULT. GREAT IMAGINATION, JORDAN), but I say they're AWESOME!
My parents had places to be so they dropped me off early with the all-too-eager seventh graders. It was kinda funny watching them all dressed up, watching what would be me the year before. It was pretty funny. I wasn't the only eighth grader there for long, one of my friends, Kelsey, cam early too. We got in and the music was already blaring for the early birds. The rest is pretty blurry. Right away Kelsey dragged me back and forth from the dance floor to the snack table, where CalebTheAwesomestNerdEver was working and we talked for a while. Pence came and we jumped up and down with the joy and then it all began.
Sam was there. History on Sam:
I just met him a couple weeks ago. He was pretty awesome, very shy and didn't talk much, but when me and Jessica, another friend, went to partner up with him he was really, really cool. I told Pence about him and she flipped out. Apparently she knows him as a past cheating jerk boyfriend, and I couldn't believe it. He was soooo nice!!! And he was the same the next day and the next day and the next day. I didn't say anything else to Pence, but he was really cool. Really funny, really nice. Jessica and I partnered with him on a new project and Jessica got sick, so me and him got to talk for a long time. I found out why Pence ever went out with him in the first place- they both play the trumpet (Really well, by the way) and love cats. He admits dogs are better and she doesn't, but he does love them to death I can tell. He had a brother, which I cannot relate to, but he also has a little sister, which I can. Basic storyline is, awesome guy, against girl-code. I'M NOT TALKING DATING. I wanna be friends with him, but Pence is so dang sensitive. She still can't hear his name, and that was in, like, fourth grade. Geez.
ANYWAY. He was there, we said hi, I really wanted to talk to him but couldn't. First, Kelsey and Emily were both spazzing and wouldn't let me stand still, and second, what was I going to say? I think he wanted to talk to me too, I saw him looking my way when we came close. But they never let me REST! don't mind, I just have to apologize on Monday. Sorry we didn't get to talk much at the dance! That was insane! How was your weekend? Are you going to DC? All that good stuff. ANYWAY.
Kaylee and Frank were there, Sam and Alexis had a fight as usual and, as usual, Emily had to be peacemaker and I can't dance without her while Kelsey's busy running away from her stalker, Kelsey. I ran with her for a while, it was kinda fun. But it's exhausting, and I needed a break. I DANCED FOR TWO FULL HOURS. IT WAS SO FUN AND NOW I'M ABOUT TO PASS OUT.
I don't know why, but I keep thinking about Sam. I feel kinda guilty. I'm sure he won't care that much, though.
It was great, the whole thing was SO awesome!!!! Dances are NOT gay. Okay, the macarena isn't exactly fun anymore. But paralyzer and let it rock and boom boom pow (Iffy song, good beat for dancing) and taylor swift and all the good stuff (Only two miley cyrus songs, i held my ears for both, all three minutes) played, too!!! The only thing missing was Cascada and Evanescence, but I had a great time anyway!!!!!!!!!
So put that on your gay-dar, Jordan.
