DESPERATE!!! COMMENT!!!!
Okay, so it's not COMPLETE desperation, but I need help on several things. If you have an idea on ANY of them, just give me the number and your comment. OK? Thanks!!!
1-I have that feeling you get when you see people do awesome stuff. I need to do something, do something big. I want to start that webshow I've talked about with my two best friends, but A- we don't have the money for our cosplays, and B-we don't have the equipment, and C- I have no idea how to get started. I mean, I need a good camera, I'd like a better editing system than Windows Movie Maker, which is okay but for something huge like this just sometimes isn't enough, and then there's the issue of copyright. Some girls made a show on YouTube and I'm afraid that people will think we're copying because they're FAMOUS, and our idea is sort of similar to theirs. I mean, they have their own Q&A PANELS at conventions. It's not a big thing, I hear they're great, but I'm not sure their fans will be. It's just something we want to do for fun, it's not like we could get anywhere near what they do. they take it so seriously, and they're AMAZING!! if KH was more popular, I'm sure they would get their own SITCOM.
2- Laptop. I'm raising the money, but with the expensive cosplays I mentioned in #1, I'm kinda short as it is. I'm too young to work- it would be child labor. And I don't get any sort of allowance and the most i get out of extra chores around the house is THANK YOU!!!! I can't do odd jobs around the neighborhood because people around here just aren't friendly. I couldn't handle it. And Jacqueline has ALL babysitting covered, and by the time she leaves it to me all the kids are grown up and taking care of themselves. SO..... I need a GOOD laptop, something fast and it has to have a LOT of memory, a USB, Microsoft Word, internet access, and portability. I'm not the most graceful or sensible person, so it should probably be sturdy, too. So: affordable, preferably under $500 or $400, if that even EXISTS, which I doubt, so maybe under $800(???), portable, sturdy, easy, and fast and it has to have a LOT of memory, a USB, Microsoft Word, and internet access. I don't know a lot about laptops, so I'm not sure how many have all this. I'm pretty sure they should all have internet access and Microsoft Word, right? And they probably all have USBs, I'm just making sure : ).
3- As I have mentioned before, I am not the most agile person. In tennis I managed to throw my racket across the court (I let go while swinging..... smart, huh?) hit my knee, hit my forehead, hit my teammate, and MIRACULOUSLY, the ball. I am not the fastest runner, though I'm not slow, and I really don't like it much. I have light asthma. I know, I'm such a dork!!!! I have okay hand-eye coordination, but I can't play baseball because A- I can't throw, and B- I get bored in the outfield and start daydreaming, so I'll most likely be grievously injured by the ball because I'm not paying attention. The POINT IS, I'm not active enough. I need a sport for a non-athletic, especially a horrible non-athletic like me. People at school KNOW they need to avoid having me on their team, or we're all dead. People KNOW they need to cover my spot for me, or we're all dead. People KNOW to back away when it's my turn to serve, or we're all dead. So. Any reccommendations? PS, it has to be something simple. No rugby, which would probably land me in the hospital (I have no body fat and no muscle. I'm a stick person), and nothing that would require travel, like water-skiing, sky-diving, or skiing. Something I can do at school or at home, OK?
THANKS!!!!

OHDD
OHDD, short for Ohio Demolition Derby, which is short for Tons of Cars Crashing Into Each Other For A Crowd of Strangers' Entertainment, A Trophy, and Fifty Bucks. Yes, roaring engines, screaming fans, lots of dirt, and greasy food. It sucks. And it's the BEST TIME OF YOUR LIFE!!!!
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
We had some really gross fair food for dinner and got into the stands right away. We sat in front of two new mothers, which confused me. Who would want to bring their newborn child to something similar to a monster truck rally? I don't know, but my mom seems to attract small children on planes and at games and in stands and such. So of course we would be in front of the only pair in the stadium. Not that it mattered, but....
the derby starts and there's roaring engines and we all scream our heads off and pound our feet on the metal bleachers so that they can try and rip each other to shreds. Yippee!!!!
But it was actually a lot of fun. I snitched a couple skittles from Leah and we bet on cars that would win. I need to learn more about cars, I figure. I know nothing but that they have an engine and they use gas. I don't know much else. Mileage? nope. Gears, shifts, belts? No freaking way. But I better if I ever want to drive, because with my luck in new things in life, I will DIE.
I won a lot of the smaller battles between the cars (Or, at least, the car I bet on did) and Leah got bored and whiny like little kids do after sitting for a few hours. So my mom and I took her down to the riding-area of the fair. We bought tickets and me and Leah rode the Music Xpress and the Scrambler, a great sister-sister tradition that Jacqueline and I have now carried on to Leah. Afterward, we headed back to the derby just in time for the very last and most important part of all. The final round. It was exciting, and God was it LOUD. You know, it's kind of funny when things actually make the sounds of the sound of the words they claim to sound like. Wow, that was confusing. I mean, these cars actually went VROOM, like in the little kids' story books. Cats don't really meow but cars definitely vroom, at least in derbies.
The funny thing is, even though I won most of the other rounds, Leah's first ever bet won altogether. Number three, an awesome looking black oldsmobile-type-car with green flames along the side and TrU OXyGen painted on the hood, these little pipes sticking out above the letters where flames puffed out every time they made a good CRASH. It was a pretty awesome paintjob, and a powerful car.
It's ridiculous how much fun it is to watch Tons of Cars Crashing Into Each Other For A Crowd of Strangers' Entertainment, A Trophy, and Fifty Bucks.

Sorry, it's dull
I know this summer has been boring, they always are without the drama of middle school idiots like me. We're all so shallow and vapid. But I promise things'll pick up. Maybe one of us will even find a guy ; )
I doubt myself, but my friends all have strong personalities. They can do whatever they want to.
Now doesn't that sound so story-book basic personality? Not confident in themselves? Next thing you know some guy will sweep me off my feet, I'll gain confidence, something bad'll happen, we'll break up, I'll use my newfound confidence to get him back, and we'll live happily ever after.
Now THAT story belongs in my You Wish blog, a fake version of my own life that makes things interesting, even for myself. It's like reading the other-dimension me's life story. It's kind of fun to twist evens around like that, even if only for fun or to be able to see from someone else's eyes. It's a lot easier to solve problems in life when you can see it that way. Everyone should try it, really.

The coin
recent studies show that the coin is no longer 50-50. Well, it never was, but to us it's a first, so roll with me here, just for a minute. Now I'm depressed, because if there is not equal bargaining to be found within a quarter, there is something not right with the world. :'(
Ladies and gentledudes, my emo moment for the day.
I just had chocolate, and now the endorphins are making me happy. XD
Doesn't that last sentence make me sound like endorphins are, like, DRUGS? LOL!!!!
I seriously am spazzing right now.... sorry : )
